In 1892, Tokujiro Ishibashi, the company’s founder, opens “Shimaya,” a tailor shop, the predecessor of ASAHI SHOES, LTD., in Kurume City. Since our foundation, ASAHI SHOES, LTD., has manufactured “comfortable shoes” that support “health from the feet up” from the very young to the elderly for enjoying walking comfortably.
